Hiya! I've been trying to figure out how to make icons from this movie, now that I have it. I don't know how to do screencaps, but I sure would like to learn! Can you tell me how? Is there free software to do it? I have Nero and InterVideo WinDVD.

Anyway, I took about 3 text icons, and I took 1, 2, 8, 12, 17 textless ones. I don't know when or if I'll add text to them, but if I do and I use them in my userpics, I will credit you for the base and send you a private message with the URL of the userpic so you can see what I've done with the base. Thanks for sharing these! That look on David's face in These Girls as he follows that girl when she walks around him into the other room....oh, it's just YUMMY! *wipes drool from chin*

David Boreanaz was made for capping and iconage :) There's nothing really to taking screencaps, I play my movies / tv shows using VLC player. I believe it's available for free. It has a video capture toolbar, so you can save whichever cap you want!

Plus you can push up the sound by like, 400%. So VLC is pretty awesome. It stands for VideoLan codec I think. You can google, but I'll look around to see what else I can give you. Basically after capping, you need to just touch them up a little on photoshop (if you have hi-res video, there should be no issues).

Hey, thanks! I'm downloading now. It turns out I have GOMplayer, which has a video capture feature, but it only caps one frame at a time, so you have to pause the video at just the right time and go into the cap window and tell it to cap the frame. Total pain. I want something that will cap a video every few seconds or frames or whatever. You know, does it for me. I have very limited time for graphics. VERY limited time. Wish to God I had more. *pout* Oh, and I use Paint Shop Pro, which has almost all the same functions as Photoshop for about 1/15 the price. :-)
