Well I don't really have writer's block. Quite far from it actually, but this question has always intrigued me. I'd probably want to live in the days of the Beatles, or Bowie or when Oasis had just hit the big time.
I mean 'd like to be twenty something right about then. When Noel Gallagher was a young guitar playing bastard, when Damian Lewis was a young wannabe actor out of the academy.
When the world was simpler and when you had to wait a few days before getting all those photographs you'd clicked on your ancient camera.
When you walked down the street without fear of being mugged or worse.
When pepper was something you put in your food and not in a spray.
The days when Global warming wasn't a freakish reality of your system and hip hop wasn't holding our youth in thrall.
When you put flowers in your hair and grooved to good music. A simpler life. Of sorts.
When shoving your way up the rat race wasn't the driving force in your life.
When some myths were still myths.
When the only thing that really mattered was making a difference.
